Looking Up,

Even After the Storms

Reports from the textile market in New York indicate it was a strong show. Campers and trailers, rustic farmhouse, velvet, woven textures and Joanna Gaines’s “look” continue to be popular. Now that Gaines has announced not only the end of the show, but also a new partnership with Target, it is likely the trend will stay strong at least for the near future.
September has been a busy for us. We are working with several auction houses (Sotheby’s, Christie’s and Profiles in History) on upcoming auctions of original Rockwell paintings. We also recently finalized a license with celebrated artist Mr. Brainwash for original pieces of artwork inspired by our images. We were impressed with Mr. Brainwash’s other licensed programs and look forward to seeing what he will create with us.
Written content from magazines such as Children’s Playmate, Jack and Jill, Children’s Digest and Turtle are constantly being used in state and national level tests for reading and comprehension showing the value of our archive extends far beyond just illustrations.
We are now just 2 weeks away from the Brand Licensing Show in London, Oct 10-12th.  If you are planning to attend that show, please swing by stand F10 and say hello!
September’s Licensee Spotlight: Bethany Lowe Designs.

Very few companies can attest to creating iconic, vintage-inspired and meticulously detailed seasonal decorative products. Bethany Lowe Designs is one of those companies. The family-owned business began in 1985 with the creation of limited edition Santa figurines and handmade ornaments. Since then, the company has only grown in popularity, both with customers who loyally collect their products as well as vendors who carry their various high quality lines. We have enjoyed working with Bethany Lowe Designs since 2015, when we together launched a Christmas collection titled “The Night Before Christmas.” The collection included various pieces based on artwork by  J.C. Leyendecker as well as  Norman Rockwell. Our current collection  ranges from large Santa figurines to classic pieces of holiday trim including ornaments, garland and tree toppers.  In addition to the Christmas series our lineup also includes selected Halloween / Fall figurines.
To all those companies and individuals we work with who were affected by the recent series of storms, we hope you are quickly able to  rebuild and regroup and that you come out even stronger on the other side!
As always, we are here to help you so let us know if you have any artwork needs! You can reach us at (317) 634-1100.
